Getting Started
Is this right for my child?+
ARYO works with children and youth of all abilities and starting points. If you're unsure, the best first step is to contact us — we'll help you find the right starting point.
How do we begin?+
Start by submitting a contact form. We'll review your information and contact you for an initial conversation about your child and the most appropriate next step.
What happens in the first session?+
The first session is about getting to know your child, their comfort, and their starting point. Activities are adapted to the child and there is no pressure to perform.
Do parents stay?+
Parent involvement depends on the program and your child's needs. We'll discuss what works best for your family.
Water Programs
Does my child need swimming experience?+
No. Water-based programs are adapted to each child's comfort and starting point. No prior swimming experience is required.
What if my child is nervous in water?+
We start from your child's comfort level and move at their pace. Activities can be adapted to build confidence gradually.
What should we bring?+
For water-based programs, bring swimwear, a towel, and a water bottle. We'll share any additional details before your first session.
Land Programs
Does my child need athletic experience?+
No. Land-based programs are adapted to each child's starting point and abilities.
What kinds of activities are included?+
Activities include games, obstacle courses, ball skills, balance activities, and movement exploration — all adaptable to the child.
What should we bring?+
For land-based programs, bring comfortable clothing for movement, indoor shoes as appropriate, and a water bottle.
Integrated Programs
How do I know if the integrated pathway is right?+
The integrated pathway is for children who may benefit from experiences across both environments. We'll help you decide during the initial conversation.
Can the pathway change over time?+
Yes. The integrated pathway adapts based on your child's goals, interests, comfort, and progress.
Registration & Cost
How much do programs cost?+
Pricing is confirmed with families as part of program information. We'll discuss options that fit your needs during the initial conversation.
Are group and one-on-one sessions available?+
Both group and individual options can be available depending on the program and your child's needs. We'll discuss this with you.
Is there a waitlist?+
When programs are full, we may offer a waitlist. We'll let you know about availability during the initial conversation.
